Brownie Night

Yesterday, Addy and I had a brownie night while we waited for Daddy to come home from his night class. She helped with the whole process and played peek-a-boo with the camera when I pulled it out to take pictures...what a sweetie!

So, yeah, I gave Addy her bath right after my last posting and, well...just watch the video. I should've guessed that such an end to the day was coming...

Naughty Totty

Well, everyone...we have a toddler on our hands! Addy is acting her clothes size instead of her age. (Clothes size: 18-24 months; Age: 10 1/2 months) Get excited! If she could write on something other than herself, I'm sure that she would've quickly jotted down this list and checked it off to boot.

To do:

-squirt Abreva all over the carpet.
-throw a tantrum when Mommy takes the Abreva away.
-unfold the entire pile of "too little" clothes while Mommy goes to get the box for them.
-throw a tantrum when Mommy refolds the clothes and puts them in the box.
-eat packing peanuts.
-throw a tantrum when Mommy digs the packing peanuts out of my mouth.
-skip my afternoon nap.
-throw a tantrum once I've realized I skipped my afternoon nap.
-have at least four stinky diapers...and, of course, throw a tantrum at each changing.

And then she blows me kisses and I forget all about it!

New Family Pictures!

I'm trying to get a head start on our Christmas cards this year, so we went and took some new family pictures yesterday. I was going to wait to post these, but they turned out way too cute and I just had to show them off!

Addy decided that she would NOT be wearing her matching hat, but, once I gave up and threw it to the side, she totally flirted with the camera...it was so fun to watch!

LC Ranch

As always, we had a great time with the Beckstroms at LC Ranch over Labor Day Weekend this year. Addy loved kayaking with Daddy when she wasn't busy charming everyone to share bites of food with her. What a little ham!

Oh My!

Today has been full of adventures...and not my favorite ones, either. Addy has had stuff coming out both ends ALL DAY, plus I'm not feeling that well myself. I feel like the minute I clean up one mess, a new one is created. Don't get me wrong...I adore Addy, but today is just one of those days! Bottom line: Don't come to our house until this flu bug passes...and please give me lots of sympathy comments!

"Big Sparkly" Anniversary

So, two years ago today, Ron gave me my "big sparkly", which I adore! Oh yeah...and we got engaged. It was just after I had surgery, so I always tease Ron that he waited until I was on drugs to propose. Just kidding! It was one of the happiest days of my life! I love you, Ronnie! As a tribute, I have posted a picture of us the morning after (the proposal, of course, what were you thinking?!)
