Oooh! Pretties...

Addy has developed a love for jewelry, especially necklaces. She says "Oooooh..." when she sees "pretties" (something she likes, including necklaces). I was letting her play with mine until she broke one. We found a big pack of Mardi Gras beads at All-a-Dollar and she just LOVES them! It has become unusual to see her without a least one of the necklaces on at all times. It is just too cute! She loves taking them on and off BY HERSELF! That part is very important, or so I learned when I tried to take them off for bath time. She wasn't ready to take them off, so I just put her in the tub with them on. So silly, but I love it. :o]

She has also gotten TONS of new teeth! I guess they all decided to come at once...she is very good at brushing her teeth, but the BY HERSELF rule applies here, too.

She is getting so big and smart - we just adore her!

Seven Red Things

1. These apples look so scrumptious, don't they? Too bad they're fake! We like our apples chilled, so the real ones are in the fridge. The bananas are real, though.

3. Here is Addy's shape sorter - the only red toy she didn't mind me taking a picture of at the moment!


4. The inside of my favorite diaper bag EVER! I not only love it for it's size and design, but also because it's Pottery Barn Kids brand and I got it for eight bucks. (Kid-to-Kid is awesome!)

Big Walking Girl

Our sweet Adelyn is getting more confident on her feet each day. She has taken as many as six steps in a row. We are so proud of her! Hooray for Addy - she will be our big walking girl in no time!

Mini Brag Reel

I haven't been feeling very well this weekend, so I took some time to relax and make a few cards. Here is my very favorite one of the weekend - I saw a pinwheel craft that inspired me to make tiny pinwheel flowers by hand. I just love it when I can sneak in some time to be crafty. :o]

Woo Hoo! Yippee! Yay!

Good news, everyone! Today I finished physical therapy! After six long months of tail-kicking adjustments and exercises, my body has been strengthened and able to heal - no surgery required! I'm feeling so much better and enjoy having more energy/strength to do the things that I love doing, like being a mom! Just in time to finish my last semester and graduate from the U with my hubby in May, too! Lots of good things happening - what a great way to start out the New Year! :o]
