Auntie Em's Orchestra Concert

Last night, we were able to attend my little sister, Emily's, orchestra concert. We are proud to announce that she is a brilliant, budding violinist! We are so proud of you, Em - you were AWESOME! :o]

I Love My Girl

This picture was taken amidst all of my medical adventures on a Sunday after church, so Addy was super sleepy. I'm so grateful for my little angel - she's been doting on me, from bringing me the phone to call 9-1-1 and opening the front door for the firemen to rubbing my head and laying with me as I recovered from surgery. I am so touched by her great big heart! I love you, baby!

Hmm...Let's See...

Wow - I am so behind on blogging! It might have to do with the fact that I've had quite the adventure lately - ride in an ambulance, time in the ER, ruptured ovarian cyst, more time in the ER, surgery to drain the cyst, still more time in the ER, Addy deciding to swallow some prescription medications, time with Addy in the ER, etc.

Well, I'm back and determined to blog with a vengeance to catch up until the end of the year! Hugs!

Addy's Birthday Party

For Addy's birthday party, we went to Fat Cats. Once she got through all of the presents, we moved on to pizza and bowling! Addy wasn't having it at first, but it grew on her. What a little princess in her pink tutu! I still can't believe that our little one is two!

Ahh, The Many Uses of Sombreros...

Addy likes to use her sombrero, not only for dressing-up and shopping, but also for sitting in! This girl sure knows how to make me smile...

In Fond Remembrance

We went to Grandma Louese's funeral today. You always felt better about life after being around her. We'll miss you, Wheez!

Birthday Toes

I let Addy paint her own toenails on her birthday. As you can see, she chose bright red and did fairly well. I always use the blow-dryer to dry my nails, but didn't think of it. When she showed me that she needed it, I thought it was so cute. While I was taking these pictures, she looked at me as if to say "Hello, mom - this is simply standard nail-painting procedure. What's the big deal?" LOVE it!

A Winking Pumpkin

Halloween was very rainy this year, so we just stayed inside. Ron helped Addy carve a winking pumpkin - didn't it turn out so cute? Even cuter is that Addy can now say "pumpkin" - it's enough to melt even the grouchiest of hearts. :o]

Gregson Ward Trunk-or-Treat

We had a great time trunk-or-treating this year! Addy and I were pumpkins and Ron was an alligator. :o]

Frances' Bridal Shower/Bachelorette Party

My best friend, Frances, is getting married! In order to properly prepare the bride-to-be, I threw a bridal shower/bachelorette party. We had SO much fun! Our waiter would blush every time he came to refill our drinks (and you can see why!) I love, you, Frances, and am so excited for you!

LC Ranch

In our family, Labor Day means a fun-filled weekend with all of the Beckstroms at LC Ranch. Addy was anxious to get out on the water with Daddy this year (that's why she's crying in the picture where she's on the wave runner - because I made her wait a minute while I snapped a picture.)

Once she got out of one boat, she got right back into another - canoeing was so relaxing that she almost fell asleep!

Ron, Addy, and Poppa ended the weekend with fishing - as you can see, they did really well, despite Addy being a little grossed.

We can't wait until next year! :o]

The Perfect Pair of Shoes

These are my most favorite pair of shoes EVER! As such, they are starting to look a little shabby, but I LOVE them! I thought they would make for a fun gratitude journal post. :o]

The Armor of God

These are my super sweet All-A-Dollar finds - the minute I saw them, I thought "Family night, here we come!" Addy easily obliged - isn't she the cutest lil' knight you've ever seen?! No Mommy bias, of course...

Blowing Bubbles

Addy LOVES bubbles! She is amazed by them. And blowing them with her reminds me how much I love them too. She is such a blessing and reminds me to be thankful for all of the seemingly little things!

Addy's First Haircut

On Saturday, Addy had her first haircut! We went to Cookie Cutters and had such a great experience. She got to sit in a car chair, watch Sesame Street, get a balloon and sucker, play on the slide, and more - she loved it and wasn't upset in the slightest! We are SO very proud of her! (And for Mommy for not crying until later!)

Fruit Pizza

Wow! I'm SO behind in blogging - that's what I get for graduating from the U and going to girls camp all within a matter of weeks! These are some cute shots from when I made fruit pizza as refreshments for a YW activity. I made a smaller one for Addy to decorate. Much of the fruit went directly into her mouth instead of on the pizza, but hey, that's where it would end up anyway, right? ;o]

Momma's Helper

When we got home from the grocery store last night, I noticed that a certain little helper had pulled the roast beef out of the grocery bag, opened it, and taken a huge bite through the whole stack! I was laughing hysterically, which is why I think she looks so confused. Never a dull moment!

My lil' sis, Camilla, cheered in Provo's 4th of July parade. We had so much fun cheering for her from the sidelines and making her blush. Isn't she darling?

A Post for My Sisters

I know, I know - I'm SUPER busted for not posting all month. School has kept me on my toes so far this semester - good thing it's my last one! :o]

As I was looking through our most recent pictures, I noticed they centered around one or more of my sisters, who are each beautiful and amazing.





My dearest Hilary graduated both with her high school diploma and Associate's degree. I know how hard this is to do and am SO proud of her! She just loves the camera - right, Hilary? ;o]






This is Addy with her "Uncle Simba," or so he is called by my big sis' Melissa. Simba, bless his heart, is a little overweight, so this particular interaction may have only occurred due to his inability to move effectively. I love the one where she's all puckered up to give him a kiss - she LOVES kitties, especially Simba.






Addy also LOVES to jump on the trampoline, especially with Aunties Darcy and Danielle. I adore both of these girls so much and am so glad that they were part of the package deal in marrying Ronnie. ;o]

I'm so grateful for each of my sisters and all that they do for me. What we do without sisters?! One thing's for sure - our wardrobes would be a lot smaller! It's nice to have multiple closets. ;o]
