Our Very Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We started off the week with family parties on both sides. It was so good to see everyone. We also sponsored a Sub-for-Santa family, which was amazing and really reminded us that Christmas is about selfless giving and unconditional love. We stayed at Nana Lenore and Poppa Ron's on Christmas Eve and then made it to Grandma Patti and Grandpa Lewis' on the way home. Addy loved every minute of it, especially playing in the snow for the first time and eating carmel candies. We hope it was a good one for you!

Picture with Santa

Addy's picture with Santa didn't go quite as well this year - she's smart enough now to be afraid of a stranger in a furry red suit and funny-looking hat. Oh well...he was very kind and patient (this is Santa, of course!) and, once we gave her her puppy, she decided she could be brave. I love her little sourpuss face.

Festival of Trees

Ok, so I am super late in posting these, but I think they are worth the wait! We went to the Festival of Trees this year with Great-Grandma Louese. It was overwhelmingly beautiful. Our favorite tree was the Barbie tree that Nana Lenore and her young women decorated - we were sure to get a picture in front of it! They did an amazing job!

We will definitely be going back again next year!

Christmas Pictures

Addy had her Christmas pictures taken yesterday, and, oh yes, we dressed her in holiday attire, both casual and formal. They turned out beautifully - I love that her personality shines through in so many of them. Merry Christmas!

PS: Thank you to Nana Lenore for the gorgeous Christmas dress! Speaking of grandmas, notice that her shirt reads "If Santa doesn't bring it, Grandma will!" So true! :o]
